2023 Summer Capital Project
The Roberto Central School District's 2023 Summer Capital Expansion begins on June 30, 2023. The projects include:
Extending the Roberto High School Building to allow an increase in capacity space(this includes completely rebuilding Roberto High School's Gymnasium.)
Extending the Roberto Middle School Building to allow an increase in capacity space.
Reconstructing Roberto High School and Middle School's parking lot.
Repair The High School Roof And Replacing Lighting Systems(To be completed during the 2024 Summer Vacation)
Completing Roberto Elementary's Buss Loop and staff parking(To be completed during the 2023 Summer Vacation)
Project Updates:
Work On Roberto HS/MS and Elementary Has Begun
June 30, 2023 - The Roberto Central School District's 2023 Summer Capitol Project kicked off with the completion of Roberto Elementary's Bus Loop and staff parking lot. Alongside the completion of Roberto Elementary's parking lot and bus loop, the district also began extending the High School building including space for more classrooms, and a brand new gym(which will include a brand new swimming/lap pool, workout room, and a secondary smaller gym). This project has shown great speed as the building's walls have been completed. Interior work is expected to last the rest of the summer and during the major district breaks, including work during the December/January breaks, Spring Break, and the 2024 Summer recess.
Roberto Middle School is expected to see an expansion during the 2024 summer vacation, as the Roberto High School project is completed during this time.
District Superintendent Joe Smith says he is excited to see the new projects be completed and ready for students during the 2023-2024 school year and "looks forward to seeing the work used by students in the fall."
Roberto Middle School To Receive Brand New Roof During Spring Recess 2024
July 16, 2023 - The Roberto Central School District has announced that work on Roberto MS's roof will be conducted during the Spring 2024 recess during the 2023-2024 school year. The work includes replacing existing ventilation systems, implementing better educational technology including LearningBoards, the latest computers and softwares as well as better security systems.
